Hole in The Head and Bloat Medicine (10 tablets)
For the treatment of hole in the head and bloat in aquarium fish.
OCTOZIN is also a treatment for internal parasites such as those which cause Sleeping Sickness, Hole - In - The - Head, Seawater Angelfish and Clownfish Disease, Malawi Bloat Disease and also early stages of Dropsy.

OCTOZIN may also be used to treat Whitespot in seawater aquaria where CUPRAZIN cannot be used. OCTOZIN is harmless to invertebrates and algae when used as directed. You will require three separate days of treatment to complete the course.

Directions for using Octozin

1. Leave biological filtration running. Switch off u.v. sterilisers, ozonisers and remove zeolite & carbon before use. Replace 96 hours after 3rd dose. NB. Dissolve in a small amount of aquarium water, then pour into aquarium. Slight foaming may occur during use, this is harmless and soon disappears. Octozin is slow to biodegrade, therefore whilst not essential, you may effect a 50% water change on day 8. Do not use simultaneously with other medications. Allow at least 48 hours to elapse when changing treatment.
2. Calculate aquarium capacity: For litres – (L x W x D) in cms divide by 1000. Allow for water displaced by rocks etc.
3. Directions: 1 tablet treats 22.5 litre (5 lmp. Galls.).
4. Frequency of Treatment: Use on days: 1,2 & 3. For marine whitespot, decrease S.G. to 1.017 for 2 to 3 weeks and use as stated above.

Any hole in the head or bloat symptoms will take around 2 weeks of the course to start seeing improvements. A high level of good water chemistry must be maintained through out the course. Another course may be done after 3 or 4 weeks.
