The Fluval Pressure-Flo 21000 is an external pressurised pond filter rated for ponds up to approximately 21,000 litres. It combines mechanical filtration with an integrated 36W UVC to help capture suspended debris and control the free-floating algae associated with green pond water.

The sealed pressure-filter format allows flexible placement around the pond and makes it possible to return filtered water to the pond, a waterfall or another suitable outlet. Biological filtration is provided by BioLava media, giving beneficial bacteria a porous surface to colonise.

Easy Routine Cleaning

The Pressure-Flo cleaning mechanism helps loosen accumulated waste from the internal foams so dirty water can be discharged through the drain outlet. This reduces the amount of dismantling needed during routine maintenance.

Recommended Pump

For a matched Fluval system, use the Max-Flo 16500. The pump moves pond water and suspended debris to the Pressure-Flo for filtration before the water is returned to the pond.

Sizing Your Filter

The 21,000L rating is a maximum guide. Heavy fish stocking, high feeding levels, strong sunlight and large amounts of organic debris can increase filtration demand, so a larger model may be appropriate for demanding ponds.

Maintenance

Inspect the filter foams, UVC lamp, quartz sleeve, seals and hose connections regularly. Rinse BioLava carefully in pond water when required to help preserve beneficial bacteria.
